Volunteer Program

The Volunteer Coordinator recruits, screens, orients, trains, supervises, and provides feedback to volunteers. Risk management is assessed for each program and a criminal record record and a child abuse registry is requested for volunteers who work with vulnerable clients. The total number of active volunteers ranges from 200-250. The Volunteer Coordinator keeps a database of not only active volunteers, but also a chronicle of all volunteers from 1965 to present. Volunteers are recognized at parties, dinners, and through Volunteer of the Month.
