Job Opportunity: Volunteer/Fundraising Coordinator

Glace Bay Citizens Service League (Town House) is a non-profit organizations serving the Glace Bay and surrounding areas since 1965. We offer a multitude of programs including Meals on Wheels, Daycare, a Clothing Depot, Seniors Programs, and a back to school Backpack program, to name a few.

We are seeking the services of a qualified professional to lead our Volunteer Resource Center and Fundraising function.

The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in Community Studies or Business with an extensive history of volunteer work in the non-profit sector. A relevant combination of education and experience would be considered.

Preference will be given to those who are skilled in the use of Office 365, Word, Excel, Power Point and would be comfortable managing our social media presence. Excellence in written and verbal communication is a requirement as group presentations are a necessity.

Demonstrated ability to be self directed as well as being able to function as part of a team are vital components of the role as is past experience leading volunteer and fundraising efforts.
